A Note From Natalie

August marks the beginning of National Black Business Month, a time to promote Black-owned business and celebrate diversity in the business community. QualCode is proud to be one such business.

During this month and beyond, hospitals can strive to ensure pay equity, prioritize employee advancement for workers from underrepresented groups, organize cultural events, and provide diversity, education, and resources. There are also additional important dates to recognize this month, including National Nonprofit Day (August 17), World Humanitarian Day (August 19), Remember Slavery Day (August 23), and Women’s Equality Day (August 26). As the month of August unfolds, look for ways in which you and your revenue cycle management (RCM) team can recognize these dates. While you’re at it, brainstorm ways to improve overall RCM accuracy and productivity.
